While the Go Devices read engine diagnostics directly from the ECM, sometimes there is a need to monitor additional systems so Geotab is fully expandable to read several different inputs. Most commonly this includes PTO operation and run time and temperature tracking for cold chain compliance, but we’ve also monitored light bars for security vehicles and snow plow usage for winter operations.
